ECAC Lacrosse Launches Mobile Scoreboard

CAPE COD, Mass. - The ECAC Lacrosse League, in partnership with PrestoSports, announced today the debut of a new mobile scoreboard with live score updates available at www.ecaclacrosse.com/m/. This newest feature comes just as conference play is getting underway. Starting today, the ECAC Lacrosse League now has a mobile scoreboard which allows fans, parents, alumni, coaches, and administrators to get updated scores on their mobile phone.

"We're excited to be able to offer this enhacement to our lacrosse fans, parents, and alumni," said Rudy Keeling, commissioner of the ECAC. "We think it is a great service to the membership."

To view the mobile scoreboard, type http://www.ecaclacrosse.com/m/ into the browser on a web enabled phone.

The scoreboard from the ECAC Lacrosse League website will now be updating the mobile scoreboard every minute to show updated scores of that day's events. Fans and parents can follow the conference action wherever they are, and coaches can check up on their rival's scores from the bus. Everyone can get the latest scores even if they can't attend all of the events.

About the ECAC
The ECAC is the nation's largest athletic conference with 321 Divisions I, II, and III colleges and universities from Maine to North Carolina. Established in 1938, the ECAC, a non-profit service organization, sponsors nearly 100 championships in 37 men's and women's sports. The ECAC assigns more than 5,200 officials in 12 sports. The conference serves as the primary playing league for Division III men's hockey (3 leagues), Division III women's hockey (2 leagues), and the ECAC Lacrosse League.
